Toby Tiger was established in 1998 by designer Zoë Mellor, named after her son. Zoë trained in Fashion and Knitwear, she is also the best selling author of 10 children's knitwear books. Her vision for the company grew from wanting children to be dressed as children in bold, simple, comfortable yet stylish designs at sensible prices. Cool enough to stand out from the crowd yet affordable for every day.

Toby Tiger was named in Drapers Record Indicator (April 2005) as one of the top five kids t-shirt brands alongside Ralph Lauren, Diesel, Quicksilver and Timberland.

Toby Tiger is stocked in numerous independent shops and leading department stores including Fenwicks, Trotters, Heals and Daisy & Tom. Celebrity customers have included Zoë Ball, Vic Reeves, Gwyneth Paltrow, Catherine Zeta Jones and Davina McCall.

 

All of our clothing sizes are generous. We do not currently offer t-shirts in size 2-3yrs but  a 1-2yrs t-shirt should fit children up to 2 years of age. (If you know the child is big for their age, choose the 3-4yrs).

Our sleepsuits and rompers come in 2 sizes: 0-6 months - which may be slightly big for newborn but should fit babies from a couple of months.

The 6-12 month size should fit babies within that age range and again is made generously to allow  for maximum wear and comfort.
